Application:
1. To achieve optimal results with Tire+, ensure that your tires are thoroughly cleaned with an all-purpose cleaner (APC) or a dedicated tire cleaner like Armour Detail Supply Tire Cleaner. Continue to clean and brush until all brown residue is removed.
2. It is important that the tire is completely dry before applying Tire+.
Yes, Tire+ is formulated to be safe for use on all types of tires. The product is water-based and contains no harmful chemicals, so it will not cause any damage or discoloration to your tires.
When applied properly and under normal driving conditions, Tire+ can provide a long-lasting shine and protection that can persist for several weeks. The product is designed to cure dry to the touch, providing a sleek and sophisticated look to your tires. Its advanced formula also includes a blend of water-based polymers, silicones, and acrylics, which work together to provide a durable, hydrophobic barrier that repels dirt and moisture.
Applying Tire+ is easy and straightforward. Start by cleaning your tires thoroughly to remove any dirt, grime, or residue. Once the tires are clean and dry, apply Tire+ to a foam applicator pad and evenly spread it across the surface of the tire. Allow the product to dry for a few minutes, and then buff off any excess residue with a microfiber towel. For best results, avoid getting Tire+ on your wheels or any other parts of your vehicle.
Yes, you can apply multiple layers of Tire+ to your tires for an even higher shine. However, it's important to allow the first layer to dry completely before applying the second layer. This will ensure that the product cures properly and provides the maximum shine and protection for your tires. With each additional layer of Tire+, you will enhance the hydrophobic barrier and repel dirt and moisture more effectively, keeping your tires looking clean and presentable for even longer.
Tire+ is great. Not overly glossy like some dressings. Doesn't splatter, smells awesome. Used it as topper to put a layer on top of Ghost. Complimented the fresh adapt application I just did to the truck.
Great product that does not require a lot of work to apply. Used this along with the Adapt Waterless wash to clean the wheel faces and the wheel barrels. Applied Tire+ and Ceramic Spray for the final touches. Great durability, produces a nice finish that compliments the vehicle. Tire+ is my go to tire dressing for my clients vehicles as well as mine!
Bought this item in error BUT its really quite good. Its the perfect shine for my usage on my less frequently used vehicles.
Easy to apply. Video shows multiple passes and not normally as shiny as I prefer but the video size limits required do-overs.
I had used it on a vehicle that we took on a 500 mile turnaround thru a driving rainstorm on the way home.
Tire lost a good part of its shine during that trip. But that was likely a worst case analysis.
There still is a place for Tire +in my chemical arsenal in the right senarios.
I love the results I get from Tire+. It's got just the right amount of sheen without looking runny like some other products I've tried. What I love most about it though is diluting it about 6:1 and using in the engine bay to dress all the components. It looks absolutely amazing and it a great replacement for some more expensive products that are designed solely for the engine bay. This is a great way to extend the use of Tire+ and it works fantastic.
This is the first full detailing of my 2005 C240 Benz.
I did not know how dirty a vehicle is until I started researching car detailing. I'm so glad I found ADS!!
All products I used were ADS.
I am not a detailer, just an average nobody that actually did detailing at this level for the first time ever. Could the vehicle have been better? Yes. This was my testing vehicle before detailing my Durango GT and Durango Hellcat.
Steps I took:
1. I did not rinse my vehicle to start, I foamed it first with decon soap only. Foamed the entire vehicle, including wheels and tires. I let the foam alone and let it do it's thing.
2. Rinsed off the decon soap -- I did not use 2 bucket wash
3. Applied wheel cleaner, and tire cleaner (one wheel at a time). As mentioned in ADS videos, I let the products for the expected amount of time, then agitated. Rinsed and repat. The wheels were so dirty because as long as I've owned the vehicle, Never had this done.
4. 2 bucket wash to make sure all particles and dirt was removed. Rinsed
5. ADS Iron remover -- one panel at a time. Rinsed
6. Foamed again with decon soap and 2 bucket wash. To make sure Iron remover and any lose particles and dirt were removed.
7. Dried vehicle
8. ADS Panel Prep
9. Applied compound and polish by hand (At this point I was exhausted from steps 1 - 8 lol and Did not feel like pulling out polisher).
10. Panel prep
11. Ceramic spray (I found it easier to spray on to my vehicle and wipe vs spraying microfiber towel then wiping.) Also used it on all of the windows as mentioned in a ADS video.
12. Applied Amplify over the Ceramic Spray
13. Applied Tire+
14. Applied Amplify to the wheels
Thank you ADS!!
Tire + ADS = HOT WHEELS !
12 hours after application. Easy to use. Smells great. For my preference, perfect sheen.
Real world Durability:
Applied to another set of tires (Continental) Daily Driver, hundreds of miles, brutalized by salt covered roads and lasted a good 4 weeks before time to reapply.
I have used/ tested a lot of different tire shines over the years.. Tire + Conditioner has been one of my absolute favorites. It's water-based, so it won't destroy your tires, and you can get as much or as little shine from this product. I prefer to do one layer for a satin finish. Absolute killer product!!
The banana scent is great to work with, the tire conditioner left a great finish with additional gloss when you add another layer or multiple. Very satisfied!
Awesome product! Prepped the tires with ADS Tire cleaner before applying two coats for medium gloss. Still looks really good after three weeks and a couple of washes.
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect tire shine—one that enhances the look of my tires without leaving them greasy or sticky. Armour Detail Supply’s Tire+ tire shine has been a game-changer for me.
First off, the smell is amazing. It has this subtle banana scent, like fresh banana bread, which makes using it a pleasant experience. It’s not overpowering, but it’s definitely a nice touch.
What really stands out about Tire+ is how it dries to the touch. I can’t stand tire shines that leave a sticky residue—you know, the kind where you accidentally brush against the tire and end up with a mess on your clothes. With Tire+, that’s not a problem. It dries completely, leaving my tires clean and mess-free. It’s such a relief not having to worry about sticky tires.
And the look? It’s perfect. I’m not a fan of that super glossy, plastic-y vibe some tire shines have. Tire+ gives my tires a deep, rich black that’s shiny but not over-the-top. It’s like a sharp suit compared to a loud tracksuit—polished and sleek, but still natural. Exactly what I want.
All in all, Tire+ has won me over. Great banana smell, dry-to-the-touch finish, and a classy look—what’s not to love? If you’re tired of sticky, sloppy tire shines, this one’s worth a try. It’s the real deal.
Very good good a water based tire shine, my preferred finish, lasts longer than 303 and another citrus based that I was using, not as watery / sling, not as long lasting as Dark side but not finicky with the prep either.
I’ve tried so many different tire dressings and they all last a few days. I bought this thinking it would be another bottle that’ll probably sit on the shelf and not get used. Well, I’m getting ready to buy a gallon of this along with the shampoo +. I’m sold on ADS products!!!
Tire+ gave my tires the shine I was looking for without the sling or black sticky mess other brands give. I will be purchasing this tire protectant for my business. 5/5
Application is easy and product has a pleasant scent. I can't speak to durability yet but 2/3 weeks is satisfactory to me here in So. Cal because I wash my car, scrub tires every two weeks and reapply. It's all about the final look and application experience to me.
No joke tire dressing. Satin look smells wonderful easy to use protection that will last weeks.. reapply as need water base. Self levels, no sling! Nacho man approved 🔥
