Thanks to your great instructional videos I worked up the courage to ceramic coat my car with no previous experience. My car is a driveway queen but I had no problems using Phobic outside. Now I have the slickest and shiniest car at the trailhead.

Prep:
The Prep is the most important step of the process, our coating is great but it can not do the prep work for you!
1. Decontaminate the vehicle using Armour Detail Supply Decon Soap and Iron Remover, followed by removing further embedded contamination with a clay bar or synthetic clay mitt.
2. Optional: If swirl marks, or scratches are present, polish the paint to reduce any surface defects and create maximum gloss.
3. Use our Armour Detail Supply Panel Prep to remove any oils/residue left from your polishing step. If you did not polish the surface, repeat this step twice to ensure a clean surface.
You are ready to apply Armour PHOBIC Spray Coating!
Application:
1. After thorough prep prime an applicator or short nap towel with 10-15 sprays to start and each subsequent application will only need 3-5 sprays, a little goes a long way.
2. Apply PHOBIC 1 panel at a time using overlapping circles (like a wax) making sure to have even, level coverage. Allow the product to “set up” for 30-60 seconds depending on temperature/humidity. Look for uniform small sweat beads or slight hazing to appear before removing.
3. In a similar circular motion level the coating using a plush towel for final leveling. Check for any streaks, or high spots which can appear as cloudy or dark spots. Repeat this process per panel.
4. Use a fresh side of the plush leveling towel every other panel. The application towel/pad can be used over the whole vehicle.
5. Once finished, remove spray pump from bottle and rinse thoroughly with water or alcohol solution. Secure sealing cap on bottle tightly and store in a cool/dry place for extended use.
Armour PHOBIC Spray Coating was designed as a single layer coating, however, it can be layered. If you wish to apply multiple layers allow a few minutes between layers. This will guarantee optimal performance.
After Care:
Allow product to sit 4 hours for initial cure. After 4 hours you can apply our Armour Detail Supply AMPLIFY or Ceramic Spray Sealant to protect the coating during its initial cure. Do not wash or induce to chemicals for 24 hours.

First time applying a ceramic coating, and it was super easy. Even in Houston, TX with very high humidity and applying outside it went smoothly. I used the dropper that came in the package with the ADS Block Band applicator. I cannot get over how slick and glossy the paint is now. With Phobic on the paint, ADS Glass Coating on the windows, and Ghost on the tires, my car is looking pretty good. This picture is after my first wash, and I added ADS Beads as a topper.
Phobic everywhere! As a novice I was a little apprehensive about using this myself. But alas, the videos from the guys at ADS are informative so I decided to give it a bash. Took me a while to decon, contact wash, panel prep etc and to apply phobic. But the result is simply monumental. It actually looks better than right after the ceramic coating I got when I bought the truck.. Just allow yourself some time if you attack a vehicle this big.. Used just around half which seems fair on this size truck. Glass, trim. Wheels, all coated. Truly spectacular product
Phobic is by far the slickest and most fun to apply and easy to use coating in the lineup, but it is really next level when applying it over top of the Pro coating, it’s like butter and super hydrophobic….great product

I started using Phobos as a topper over Quartz PRO with great results. I do find that sing the spray top is a one time tool. I keep extra spray tops on hand .

Amour Detail Phobic is hands-down one of the best products I’ve used in years. I applied it in early November 2025 and, due to a brutal winter with fluctuating temperatures, I wasn't able to give the vehicle its first wash until yesterday. The most easy maintenance coating experience ever with great gloss, depth, and hydrophobics
Super slick finish and easy to apply. I even used it on my cub cadet. The dust doesn't stick and It looks like I detailed it after a quick session with my Milwaukie leaf blower.

Phobic is a true money maker! As far as coatings go, this is the most user-friendly one I've ever used. Long work time in high heat/high humidity and removing any high spots is as easy as applying more product, letting it sit for a few seconds and wiping off. Phobic has solidified it's spot as my one year coating offering.
I’m just an enthusiast detailer. I decided to try some of the Armour Detail Supply products including the Phobic coating. All the products have been fantastic!! Nice scents including the Hero rinseless wash (makes me want a strawberry lemonade 😂). I did all prep work, wash, decontamination, and a light polish, and panel prep. Then applied the Phobic. These pictures are right after I finished. Fantastic results. I was able to coat both of our personal vehicles and my motorcycle with the one bottle.

Coated my wife's new honda pilot with phobic. I used an applicator and plastic dropper to apply like a normal coating. Went on easy and smooth. Beads up when ready for wipe off. Instantly left the surface very slick. It is potent for what it is. If you aren't diligent with your removal, high spots do not remove easily a few hours later. Great product though!
Man I love this. Used it to coat my wheels and my wife’s wheels. Was super easy to apply and is super slick on wipe off. Gonna do my sons car soon that has a coating on it (parts currently failing)

First time using a Coating, as shown it is amazingly easy to apply and buff off.. very impressive. The slickness left behind is incredible, very noticeable on a brand new vehicle, I didn’t do the full prep as the vehicle was brand new and the paintwork was in excellent condition, I simply gave the vehicle a thorough wash and chamois down until ‘ squeaky clean’ and then applied the Phobic. 100% happy with the outcome.. Highly recommended. PS: I’m 79 years old so anyone can apply this product.

Used on a few cars and Love it ! Once as a stand alone spraying into a town and wipe. Super fast and the results were amazing. Glossy and decent fill too ! Topper over another coating that was 1yr in. Gave it that extra pop and restored hyrdrophobics. Used it on another installing like a traditional coating and it's holding up great !
This might be my favorite sealant. I can never commit to a fully ceramic coating because I enjoy the process of reapplying and polishing if needed. This stuff gives me the gloss and beading that coatings do with still being able to apply every year. Works out great for clay and seal packages too. Seems to be pretty durable as well. Has survived on my camper doors thru a strip wash.
I starting doing reviews more lately, because it helps. It helped me once. This is a must have! I just added this to my top 5 car detailing prouducts. Limlex, Adams graphene shampoo and ceramic spray, MAXL One and now ADS phobic. I pit is on at 1pm on 5/17/25. At 6pm there was a storm. The bead pattern after the rain subsided was something i had never seen before in any product. Something told me to buy 2 bottles. I will be buying more. I really hope you buy this.
