Armour PIVT Pressure Gun - Limited One Year Warranty

Product: Armour PIVT Pressure Gun, referred to as the “Product”
Warranty Provider: Armour Detail Supply, LLC, referred to as “Armour,” “we,” “us,” or “our”

1) COVERAGE AND TERM

Armour warrants that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use and when operated and maintained according to the Product User Guide for one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase by the first end user, referred to as the “Warranty Period.”

Coverage applies to the functional gun assembly, including the housing, trigger mechanism, internal valve assembly, and integrated ball bearing swivel.

Coverage of the swivel applies to defects in materials or workmanship that prevent the swivel from functioning as intended. Damage or failure caused by contamination, inadequate lubrication, misuse, impact, corrosion, freezing, excessive heat, improper connection, or normal wear is not covered.

2) WHO AND WHERE THIS APPLIES

1. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
2. Territory is limited to the United States and Canada.
3. A dated sales receipt from Armour Detail Supply or an authorized Armour reseller is required.
4. Marketplace purchases qualify only when the seller is an authorized Armour reseller.

3) WHAT WE WILL DO

If a covered defect arises during the Warranty Period and the claim process below is followed, Armour will, at its option:

1. Replace the Product with a new or refurbished unit of equal or better function.
2. Repair the Product at no charge using new or refurbished parts.

Refunds are not available under this warranty.

Any repaired or replaced Product will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or ninety (90) days from the repair or replacement date, whichever is longer.

Repair or replacement under this section is the exclusive remedy available under this Limited Warranty, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

4) WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover damage, defects, deterioration, or failures caused by or resulting from any of the following:

Improper operation

1. Operation above the maximum rated pressure of 5,800 PSI.
2. Operation above the maximum rated flow of 12 GPM.
3. Operation above the maximum rated water temperature of 320°F.
4. Use with incompatible pressure washers, hoses, fittings, adapters, accessories, or connection types.
5. Operation contrary to the Product User Guide or pressure washer manufacturer instructions.

Consumable fittings and accessories

The following items are considered consumable or service items and are not covered under this warranty:

1. The 3/8 inch stainless quick connect inlet.
2. The 1/4 inch stainless push to lock outlet.
3. The included 3/8 inch M22 14 mm stainless quick connect adapter.
4. The included 3/8 inch M22 15 mm stainless quick connect adapter.
5. Quick connect couplers, plugs, locking balls, retaining components, external O rings, backup rings, and other removable connection hardware.

Failure or wear of one of these components does not constitute a defect in the Product itself.

Internal seals are covered only when their failure results from a manufacturing defect during the Warranty Period. Internal seal failure caused by ordinary wear, contamination, inadequate lubrication, excessive heat, chemicals, freezing, mineral buildup, or improper maintenance is not covered.

Incorrect fitting installation

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

1. Using the incorrect M22 adapter size.
2. Forcing a 14 mm connection into a 15 mm fitting or a 15 mm connection into a 14 mm fitting.
3. Cross threading.
4. Over tightening.
5. Using pliers, wrenches, impact tools, or other tools on connections intended to be secured by hand.
6. Improper use of thread sealant, thread tape, adhesives, or locking compounds.
7. Installing fittings with incompatible thread types, dimensions, or sealing methods.
8. Failure to inspect connections for proper fit before pressurizing the system.

Chemical exposure

The PIVT Pressure Gun is warranted for water use only.

This limitation applies to fluid passing through the pressure gun itself. It does not prohibit the use of a downstream foam cannon or similar accessory when the cleaning chemical is introduced after water has exited the gun.

Damage caused by detergent, soap, solvent, acid, alkaline cleaner, degreaser, petroleum product, corrosive fluid, undiluted concentrate, or any liquid other than water passing through the Product is not covered.

Normal wear and cosmetic condition

This warranty does not cover:

1. Normal wear and tear.
2. Cosmetic scuffs, scratches, fading, discoloration, abrasions, or other appearance changes that do not affect Product function.
3. Gradual trigger, valve, swivel, seal, or housing wear resulting from ordinary use.

Maintenance related damage

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

1. Failure to flush the Product with clean water after use.
2. Failure to depressurize the system before disconnecting fittings, servicing the Product, or placing it into storage.
3. Failure to periodically lubricate the ball bearing swivel.
4. Failure to periodically lubricate and maintain the quick connect fittings.
5. Allowing dirt, sand, debris, minerals, or corrosion to accumulate within the swivel, trigger mechanism, valve assembly, or fittings.
6. Mineral or limescale buildup.
7. Inadequate cleaning or maintenance.
8. Storage while wet under freezing conditions.
9. Storage contrary to the Product User Guide.

Impact and abuse

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

1. Drops, crushing, vehicle impact, excessive force, or other physical abuse.
2. Cracked, distorted, punctured, or otherwise damaged housings resulting from impact.
3. Using the Product as a hammer, lever, support, or tool for any purpose other than operating a compatible pressure washer.
4. Pulling, lifting, or carrying the pressure washer or hose by the Product.

Although the Product uses a shock resistant housing, shock resistance does not mean the Product is impact proof or protected against all drops or physical damage.

Environmental damage

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

1. Freezing.
2. Fire.
3. Excessive heat.
4. Prolonged ultraviolet exposure.
5. Saltwater exposure.
6. Corrosive environments.
7. Improper storage.

Alteration and unauthorized repair

This warranty does not cover:

1. Alterations, modifications, disassembly, or repairs not authorized by Armour.
2. Removal, bypassing, or modification of the trigger safety lock.
3. Modification of the trigger, swivel, valve, housing, inlet, or outlet.
4. Damage caused by replacement parts, accessories, or fittings that are incompatible with the Product.
5. Products with removed, altered, damaged, or illegible identifying labels, markings, serial numbers, or batch codes.

Documentation and return exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

1. Products without valid proof of purchase.
2. Products purchased from an unauthorized seller.
3. Damage occurring during shipment to Armour.
4. Products returned without a valid return merchandise authorization, referred to as an “RMA.”

Customers should use insured and trackable shipping when returning a Product.

Performance note

Pressure washer performance depends on the pressure washer, pump output, hose length, hose diameter, nozzle size, water supply, connection compatibility, and other system components.

Differences in pressure, flow, trigger feel, or overall system performance caused by equipment outside the Product are not defects in materials or workmanship.

5) COMMERCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL USE

This warranty applies to consumer, commercial, and professional use on the same terms.

Use within a professional detailing business, mobile detailing operation, wash facility, dealership, or commercial shop does not automatically reduce the Warranty Period.

The exclusions concerning normal wear, maintenance, impact, contamination, operating limits, and misuse apply equally to consumer and commercial users.

6) HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

All warranty claims are handled directly by Armour Detail Supply and not through distributors or resellers.

Provide the following:

1. A dated proof of purchase.
2. Clear pictures or videos showing the reported issue.
3. A description of the issue and the circumstances under which it occurred.
4. Information about the pressure washer, hose, fittings, adapters, and accessories used with the Product.
5. Any additional information reasonably requested by Armour to evaluate the claim.

Ship the Product as instructed

If Armour requests the Product for inspection:

1. Follow the return instructions provided by Armour.
2. Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package.
3. Completely depressurize and drain the Product before shipment.
4. Remove any detachable accessories unless Armour specifically requests that they be included.
5. Package the Product securely to prevent shipping damage.

Shipping costs

Inbound shipping to Armour is the customer’s responsibility.

If the claim is approved, Armour will cover standard outbound shipping of the repaired or replacement Product to an address within the United States or Canada.

Expedited shipping, international forwarding, brokerage charges, duties, taxes, and shipping to locations outside the United States or Canada are not covered.

7) LIMITS AND DISCLAIMERS

No other express warranties

This document states the complete express written warranty provided by Armour for the Product.

No reseller, distributor, employee, representative, or other person is authorized to modify this Limited Warranty or provide an additional warranty on behalf of Armour unless the modification is made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Armour.

Implied warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the one (1) year Warranty Period.

Some states and provinces do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties. Where such a limitation is prohibited, the limitation above does not apply.

Incidental and consequential damages

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Armour is not liable for incidental, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including:

1. Damage to a pressure washer, pump, hose, vehicle, property, fitting, accessory, or other equipment.
2. Loss of use.
3. Lost revenue or profits.
4. Business interruption.
5. Labor charges.
6. Rental equipment.
7. Towing or transportation expenses.
8. Replacement water, chemicals, accessories, or supplies.

Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Where such an exclusion or limitation is prohibited, it does not apply.

Nothing in this Limited Warranty excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Your rights

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state or province.

8) SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE

Use the Product only as directed in the Product User Guide.

Always:

1. Confirm that the pressure washer, hose, adapters, fittings, gun, and accessories are compatible before operation.
2. Inspect the Product and all connections before each use.
3. Verify that all fittings are fully seated and locked before pressurizing the system.
4. Depressurize the pressure washer system before disconnecting, adjusting, inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, or servicing the Product.
5. Keep hands and body parts away from the pressurized water stream.
6. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
7. Engage the trigger safety lock when the Product is not actively being used.
8. Keep the Product away from children and untrained users.
9. Never direct the pressure washer stream toward people, animals, electrical equipment, or delicate surfaces.
10. Follow all pressure washer, hose, nozzle, accessory, and equipment manufacturer instructions.

9) GOVERNING LAW

This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles, subject to any nonwaivable consumer protection laws that apply in the purchaser’s state or province.

10) DISPUTE RESOLUTION, BINDING ARBITRATION, AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER

United States and Canada

Except where prohibited by applicable law, any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to the Product, its sale, use, performance, this Limited Warranty, or warranty service will be resolved through individual, binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, referred to as the “AAA.”

Consumer disputes will be administered under the applicable AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Commercial disputes will be administered under the applicable AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules.

Venue and format

Arbitration may proceed by video conference, telephone conference, written submissions, or in person in Lee County or Collier County, Florida, subject to the applicable AAA rules and any location or format required by applicable law.

Small claims exception

Either party may bring an individual claim in a small claims court with jurisdiction, provided the claim remains individual and within that court’s authority.

Jury and class action waiver

To the extent permitted by law, you and Armour waive the right to:

1. A jury trial.
2. Participate in a class action, collective action, consolidated action, private attorney general action, or representative proceeding.
3. Have a dispute decided on a classwide or representative basis.

The arbitrator may award relief only to the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that individual party’s claim.

Fees

The applicable AAA rules will govern filing fees, administrative fees, arbitrator compensation, and other arbitration costs.

Armour will pay fees that it is required to pay under the applicable AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules or applicable law.

Thirty day opt out

You may opt out of the arbitration agreement and class action waiver by sending written notice within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date.

The notice must include:

1. Your full name.
2. Your mailing address.
3. Your email address or telephone number.
4. The Product name.
5. The purchase date.
6. A clear statement that you are opting out of the arbitration agreement and class action waiver.

Opting out of arbitration does not affect the remaining terms of this Limited Warranty.

Canadian consumers

To the extent that consumer protection laws in your province prohibit mandatory arbitration or class action waivers, the affected portions of this section do not apply to you. Your rights and remedies under applicable provincial law remain available.

11) SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Limited Warranty is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force to the maximum extent permitted by law.

If the class action waiver is found invalid or unenforceable for a particular dispute and that determination permits the dispute to proceed on a class, collective, consolidated, or representative basis, the arbitration agreement will be void for that dispute unless applicable law requires a different result.

12) CHANGES

Armour may update this Limited Warranty prospectively.

Any update will apply only to Products purchased on or after the effective date of the updated warranty.

No update will shorten or reduce coverage already provided to a Product purchased during an existing Warranty Period.
