Dirt Release Foam Technology
The DRFT Foam Cannon is built for enthusiasts who demand high performance, reliable build quality, and consistent results—wash after wash. Powered by our Dirt Release Foam Technology, DRFT transforms your favorite car shampoo into a thick, clinging foam that helps break down grit and grime before you ever touch your paint, reducing the risk of swirls and scratches.
At its core, DRFT features a nickel-plated brass body and internals, offering near-stainless durability with better value. The 1L wide-mouth bottle is easy to fill, stays upright, and includes molded volume markings for accurate dilution. Fine-tune your foam output with the oversized metering knob, then switch from vertical to horizontal spray in seconds with the adjustable fan nozzle.
Whether you're using an entry-level electric washer or a high-flow setup, DRFT includes everything you need to dial in pro-level foam—plus the durability to last season after season.

FAQs
Yes—DRFT uses a standard 1/4" quick-connect fitting, so it mates with most pressure-washer spray guns. For best results, use a pressure washer within the PSI/GPM ranges in the User Guide(higher flow = thicker foam). Most consumer electrics in the ~1.4–2.5 GPM range work well; gas units typically produce even denser foam. If your unit is on the lower-flow side, start with a slightly richer soap mix and warm water, and change the oriface to the 1.1mm provided.
Try this quick checklist:
- Soap & mix: Use a high-foaming car shampoo; start around 1–2 oz per 16 oz bottle (adjust to taste). Fill with warm water to help it blend.
- Water distribution dial: Close the water mix knob a bit. Turn clockwise for more foam. Generally keep this fully turned clockwise.
- Nozzle pattern: Use a wider fan, keep the cannon vertical, and hold the tip 24" from the panel.
- Water & hardware: Hard water reduces foam—flush and descale the cannon periodically (white vinegar works). Make sure your pressure washer meets the User Guide specs and that all O-rings/quick-connects seal properly.
- Filter maintenance: If output fades, remove the foam filter/mesh, rinse, and soak to clear soap residue or scale; replace with provided extra filter if needed. Always flush clean water through the cannon for 15–30 seconds after use.
- After every wash: Run clean water through the cannon for 15–30 seconds, then empty the bottle and let it air-dry. Don’t store with soap inside.
- Monthly (or every ~10 uses): Remove the pickup tube and foam filter/mesh, soak parts in warm water or a mild vinegar solution to dissolve soap residue and scale, rinse, and reassemble.
- O-rings & seals: Inspect periodically; replace if flattened or cracked. A light silicone grease on O-rings helps sealing and longevity.
- Connections: Keep the 1/4" quick-connect clean; make sure fittings seat fully before use.
- Storage: Keep upright, out of heat/freezing temps, and depressurized. Hand-tighten the bottle—no tools—to avoid cross-threading.
