Precautions:
Shake well.
Avoid applying in direct sunlight.
Wear skin protection.
Wear respiratory protection.
Wear eye protection.
Always test in small area before full application to determine flash time.
Applying in colder conditions will lengthen time frame before wipe-off (closer to 2-3 minutes). Applying in hotter conditions will give you a shorter time frame before you wipe-off (closer to 1-2 minutes).

Prep:
The Prep is the most important step of the process, our coating is great but it can not do the prep work for you!
1. Decontaminate the paint surface using Armour Detail Supply Decon Soap and Iron Remover, followed by removing further embedded contamination with a clay bar or synthetic clay mitt.
2. If swirl marks, or scratches are present, polish the paint to reduce any surface defects and create maximum gloss.
3. Use our Armour Detail Supply Panel Prep to remove any oils/residue left from your polishing step. If you did not polish the surface, repeat this step twice to ensure a clean surface.
You are ready to apply Armour Quartz Coating!
Application:
1. After thorough prep prime the applicator with 3 lines start and each subsequent application will only need a small amount, a little goes a long way.
2. Apply Armour Coating 1-2 panels at a time. Initially create an "X" pattern on the panel, then box in all edges to allow for even distribution of the coating. Follow through the panel using small overlapping circles (like a wax) making sure to have even, level coverage. Allow the product to "set up" for 1-3 minutes depending on temperature/humidity (generally 90 seconds). Look for uniform small sweat beads or light haze to appear before removing.
3. In a small circular motion level coating 95%+ on 1st wipe (short nap, pearl weave). If the product is very hard to remove it needs less time before removal. Switch to 2nd towel (plush) for final leveling, wipe in straight lines for final removal. Check for any streaks, or high spots which can appear as cloudy or dark spots. Repeat this process per panel
4. Halfway through the vehicle or as the applicator starts to cure, flip the applicator over to a fresh side.
5. Use a fresh side of your removal towels every panel.
Armour Quartz Coating was designed as a single layer coating, however, it can be layered. If you wish to apply multiple layers allow 1-2 hours between layers. Allow 1-2 hours if you choose to layer PHOBIC on top of the Armour Coating.
After Care:
Allow product to sit 4 hours for initial cure. After 4 hours you can apply our Armour Detail Supply AMPLIFY or Ceramic Spray Sealant to protect the coating during its initial cure. Do not wash or induce to chemicals for 24 hours.

Yes! Both Armour and Armour PRO coating can be used on plastic trim. They will provide a sleek darkening effect to the plastic, and provide significant UV protection and hydrophobic properties to the plastic surface.

I applied Quartz to my daughters 15 year old Volvo paint and you can see in the video the results, it looked amazing, or course that was a good paint correction but the shine and gloss from the Quartz and the ease of applying is second to none and hard to beat!!
Since I started using Armour Detail Supply’s Quartz coating, I have completed three cars. Two were mine and we did a friend of mine Honda Hybrid in red. No matter the color, Quartz came through with easy application and wipe off leaving a brilliant gloss shine!

ADS Quartz V2 is so easy! I would definitely recommend it to newer detailers as well as pros!! It’s as easy as Phobic on an applicator, but it has 2-3 times the working time… Super slick, ready to roll in 4 hours, and the hydrophobics are amazing!! This was only my second application of a ceramic coating, and it is very forgiving/ easy to address high spots. I used the new ADS band applicator after prepping with all ADS Products and the gloss & shine is fantastic! You would never know this was a 10 year old black vehicle after Quartz!!

New to ADS and Armour Quartz Coating. First ceramic coating I've installed. Been detailing for years and have been using good old carnauba wax. Armour Quartz is awesome and easy to install. Incredible results, very slick, deep color! Take the time to properly prep your car for the coating. Decontaminate, paint correction, and prep spray is a must for best results. Work in small areas, let flash and then wipe off. I worked the hood in quarters, apply 1 quarter, apply second quarter, then wipe the first quarter moving to the second quarter. Repeat for the rest of your car. Enjoy and have fun!
ADS Quarter V2 is phenomenal!! It was so easy to apply, predictable flash, and forgiving with high spots!! I had only applied PHOBIC before this, and I think it was just as easy, with a bit more time to work…. It made this 10 year old 4Runner look fantastic!! The gloss, shine, and hydrophobics are off the charts!! 10/10 recommend, even for beginners like myself!!

My experience with ADS Quartz v1 has been fantastic. I’ve applied it on two vehicles at this point, my Z3 and my wife’s Tiguan. Historically, I’ve installed Ceramic Pro, Gyeon, Ammo NYC and Gtechniq coatings. Each one has its strengths and weaknesses. This has taught me exactly what I do, and don’t like in a coating. What I love about ADS Quartz is how it manages to meet all my expectations and then some! The application is simple. The gloss and warm glow appearance is top notch. The water behavior is great. First time applying Armour Detail Supply Quartz coating. I have tried many others over the last 20 years with generally good results and experiences. ADS Quartz coating is amazing. High level prep is key of course. Application is very smooth and you can work in moderately large sections. I waited 1-2 minutes in my temp and humidity. Initial wipe off with pearl towel is slightly grabby but the second wipe with high pile towel is slick and smooth. Double check for any high spots and on to the next section. Very slick! Extreme gloss and shine! My customer loved it and said it made her Mercedes look as good as the day she bought it!
