THE PROMISE

Most classes put you in a group, you wait your turn, you watch others, and you go home with more questions than answers. ARMOUR Academy is different. It is you and DJ Mayo in a working shop for two full days, hands on from the first rinse to the final inspection. Every step is coached. Every mistake becomes a lesson. We tune pad choice, liquid selection, pressure, rotation, lighting, and finish checks in real time so the technique sticks. Because the training is truly private, we move at your pace. We spend more time where you need it, less where you do not, and we change the plan on the fly when your questions open a better path.

This is a highline curriculum built on real shop standards. You will run a complete vehicle front to back, learn how to diagnose, how to correct, how to coat cleanly, and how to present a finished car that keeps customers returning. Other respected programs in the industry focus on hands-on paint correction and coating for a reason. We share that focus, then push it further with a true 1:1 format so nothing gets lost in the crowd.

WHAT YOU WILL MASTER

• Prep and decontamination
  Safe contact wash strategy, chemical versus mechanical decon, clay systems, panel management, and how prep decisions affect correction speed and finish quality.

• Highline detailing standards
  Lighting strategy, defect mapping, cleanliness in process, finish presentation, and the small touches that separate a good job from a professional one.

• Advanced paint correction
  Test-spot logic, different levels of correction, pad and liquid pairing, DA control, heat management, edge awareness, finish refinement without haze, and when to stop.

• Professional ceramic coating
  Panel sequencing, flash timing, leveling, high-spot control, and coating applications for paint, glass, wheels, and trim, including cure guidance and the first-wash plan.

• Quality control and delivery
  Final inspection workflow, simple maintenance plans, and service packages that protect results and reduce callbacks.

YOUR TWO DAYS, BUILT AROUND YOU

This is a guided framework that you control. We begin with a quick assessment of your experience, shortfalls, and goals. From there, the outline flexes.

Typical flow
Day 1, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Arrival, safety, vehicle assessment, and documentation. Contact-safe wash, chemical and mechanical decon, claying, tape and test-spot methodology, pad and liquid testing on live panels, first correction pass and refinement. We pause often to tune technique and lock in clean habits.

Day 2, 8:00 to 5:00
Refinement and texture management, coating readiness checks, ceramic coating on paint, glass, wheels, and trim, leveling and high-spot control under proper lighting, final QC and delivery standards, and simple maintenance planning.

You set the emphasis
If finishing haze is your pain point, we stay in finishing systems until it clicks. If consistency in coating removal is the gap, we loop panels until the process is second nature. You are the master of your own training. This is sixteen hours of true 1:1 work with a master trainer and detailer.
